Katari Muni Retratcts His Assurance in Anger

Producer Munirathna has handed onver a letter to Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce on Thursday indicating that he will not be able to adhere to the gentleman agreement that was discussed in the chamber because of the non co-operative attitude of  K.Manju, producer of  God Father who is creating bottlenecks at every given opportunity to stop the promotions of  his film.
Munirathna has cited a recent incident where he was participating in a promotional programme of the film in TV 9 programme, when an uninivited Manju stormed in the programme to request his hero Upendra not to participate in any promotional programmes of the film.
‘K.Manju is deliberately trying to stop the release of the film hood or crook. HE is indulging in unfair practices to stop my film’s promotional activities.   Though I had made it very clear in the channel interviews during the consciliatory meeting called b y the film chamber that I will go ahead with all my promotional activities, K.Manju has not cared to give me an opportunity to promote my film’ said Munirathna.
Munirathna said that with this background and persistent sniping by K.Manju he felt that it would be a futile exercise to honour the gentleman agreement during the course of the last meeting held at KFCC.
